Rob Kerr and his band of NHL ragamuffins downed the Heartland Mustangs 10-9 to regain the Doug Blackie Memorial Cup. Thanks to EVERYONE in attendance, we once again raised awareness and a few thousand for Big Brothers Big Sisters!

Here it is, October already! We’re closing in on the 2011 Centre Ice Challenge for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Last year’s event was a rockin’ time. I mean, how can you go wrong when Santa Claus is the referee? Well, this year there’s a new and exciting spin on the game. It’s a Halloween Bash!! Test drive your halloween costume at the game on SATURDAY, October 29th at the Murray Arena in Okotoks. Maybe you’ll win a prize for best costume! There’ll be some goodies for the kids and tons of entertainment on the ice.
